An Effective foreign economic cooperation is another essential part of the Ministry's policies aiming to support sustainable economic growth.

The core of our energy policy is the development of a competitive internal and an integrated external market, the construction of a reliable infrastructure, security and diversification of sources and supply routes of the energy resources and an overall improvement of the energy efficiency. We stimulate the use of energy from renewable sources and the development of new clean technologies. We also develop nuclear energy in the country, in strict correspondence with the international safety standards and with proven economic efficiency.

We create conditions for sustainable tourism development, which combine the beauty of Bulgarian nature with our rich cultural potential, over a thousand-year-old history and the great opportunities our country provides for sport and recreation. Due to this we can  offer tourists a diverse year-round product, which combines, the well-developed in our country, winter skiing and summer seaside holiday packages in combination with various wonderful opportunities for alternative tourism - eco and rural tourism, spa , cultural, wine, religious and many more.

We are working to establish Bulgaria’s recognition as a modern year-round tourist destination and to attract a greater number of tourists by offering quality, comfort, a variety of opportunities and above all unique Bulgarian hospitality.
