First place for Bulgaria in the European business climate for the year 2012

Bulgaria takes first place in the European business climate for the year 2012. It comes as a research on Eurochambers - The European Association of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, which is the most representative business organization in The Old Continent. The research is result by several inquiries from members of The Association, who shares their expectations about their potential business development.

First place in The Business Confidence indicator is for Bulgaria, which is followed by Sweden, Turkey, Rumania, Belgium, Malta and Great Britain. The countries with worst business climate are Greece, Denmark, Austria, Spain and Portugal. The positive expectations for business development in Bulgaria during 2012 are 48.2% for industry and 46.9% for utilities sector. The achieved success for our country comes during the period of the major deterioration in the general indicator in Europe.

The Total Turnover Expectations indicator shows that Bulgaria has third place after Poland and Turkey. They are followed by Belgium, Estonia and Sweden. The worst countries are Greece, Hungary, Cyprus, Spain and Czech Republic.

The Domestic Sales Expectations indicator shows that Bulgaria has third place again after Poland and Turkey. Bulgaria is followed by Belgium, Rumania and Sweden. The indicator categorized Greece, Portugal, Spain, Czech Republic and Great Britain as the worst presenting countries in EU.

In The Export Sales Expectations indicator our country has second place after Poland. Bulgaria is followed by Turkey, Greece, Estonia, Poland and Denmark. In the bottom of the classification are Hungary, Czech Republic, Great Britain, Cyprus and Croatia.

In The Employment Expectations indicator Bulgaria has fourth place after Turkey, Belgium and Estonia. Bulgaria is followed by Poland, Malta and France. In the bottom of the classification are Greece, Spain, Cyprus, Portugal, Czech Republic and Italy.

Bulgaria has third place in Europe in The Investment Expectations indicator. The leader in this classification is Turkey, which is followed by Poland. After Bulgaria comes Rumania, Estonia, Malta and Belgium. The worst presenting countries in this indicator are Greece, Spain, Portugal, Czech Republic and Croatia.
